Silicone-free
Gap fillers, pads, spacers, soft-ultra-soft gel silicone-free
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Elastic, silicone-free gap filler pads are made from a silicone-free, resin-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and ensure thermal contact between the component and the heatsink by compensating for small, medium, and large gaps as well as cumulative tolerances between the hotspot and heatsink depending on the setup. Silicone-free gap filler films are used in applications that exclude the use of silicone-based materials.
Silicone-free soft elastomers offer very good to very high thermal conductivity due to advanced composite technology, while providing excellent dielectric strength and high heat resistance. They exhibit no low molecular weight siloxane volatility and have very low outgassing rates, thereby preventing electrical contact problems or contamination risks. The materials are soft, flexible, and show good resilience with excellent compressibility.
Our portfolio includes several high-performance, highly thermally conductive silicone-free elastomers with thermal conductivities ranging from 2.5 to 17.0 W/m·K. The products are soft, compressible, and mechanically durable. They are also characterized by low density. Material thicknesses from 0.5 to 10.0 mm are available; other thicknesses are available on request.
