UL-CERTIFIED REPACKAGER

The product liability laws in the United States of America and Canada are far stricter than in Europe. Companies that wish to export their electronic components, accessories, or electrical devices to these countries are well-advised to have their products UL certified. The use of UL-listed materials is therefore becoming increasingly important in the development of assemblies, components, and labeling.

ICT SUEDWERK has taken the necessary steps and has been certified by UL as a repackager. The UL repackaging program ensures complete traceability of all materials used throughout the value chain, from the raw material manufacturer to the finished end product. For all processing steps – such as stamping, cutting, molding, etc. – clearly defined labeling regulations must be followed.

Every UL repackager must provide proof of compliance with all relevant regulations through certification and quarterly unannounced on-site inspections.

Furthermore, all products offered by ICT SUEDWERK can be viewed upon request through the necessary UL files from the manufacturers and are indicated according to UL requirements during labeling.

Thus, traceability is 100 percent guaranteed.

REACH/RoHS

The REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 is a

EU chemical regulation that came into force on June 1, 2007. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals.

• As an EU regulation, REACH has equal and direct validity in all member states.
• The REACH system is based on the principle of industry self-responsibility.
• According to the principle of "no data, no market," only chemical substances that have been registered can be placed on the market within the scope of REACH.
• Manufacturers, processors, and wholesalers – i.e., those who place these chemicals on the market – must have a registration number for these products, provided they fall under the scope of REACH.

For the products listed in our catalog, we – ICT SUEDWERK GmbH – as processors and distributors, provide you with EU safety data sheets or product-specific REACH declarations in cooperation with our contractual partners (material manufacturers).
